A listing is an invitation to investigate, not a complete property record. Save the link, then organize the questions that could change your interest, budget, or timeline.
Begin with the decision-changing questions
Focus first on facts that could materially change fit or cost. A long generic checklist is less useful than identifying your personal deal-breakers.
- Property type, legal configuration, occupancy, and access.
- Known condition, age of major systems, and apparent projects.
- Association obligations, shared access, or special property features.
- Timing, offer process, and information still missing.
Bring the link—do not copy the listing
LAREALTi’s private inquiry accepts an address or a consumer-supplied listing URL. We use it only to understand the question and do not republish the third party’s photos, description, status, or listing data.
Keep the first request safe
Do not submit proof of funds, bank statements, identity documents, or private access instructions in the initial form. An identified professional can provide an appropriate secure method if those materials are later needed.
